Restaurant POS, Kitchen Printer & Wi-Fi Support on Long Island

Kitchen tickets are not printing. A handheld loses Wi-Fi. The counter works but the kitchen display disconnects. Daniel can inspect the local device and network path, identify what is affected, and coordinate the next step with your POS provider.

What we can diagnose or set up

  • POS terminal and handheld connectivity, receipt and kitchen printer connections, and KDS network checks.
  • Ethernet cables, wall jacks, switches, device addressing, and approved printer setup.
  • Guest Wi-Fi separated appropriately from operational systems, with coverage checks in dining and service areas.
  • Verizon and Optimum fault evidence, supported WAN monitoring, and suitable internet backup planning.
  • Back-office computers, Microsoft 365, backups, and supported device replacement or setup.

Tell us what is happening

  • Which devices and workflow fail: checkout, orders, tickets, KDS, or guest Wi-Fi?
  • Is the network managed by your POS vendor or by your business?
  • Does the failure happen during service, after a power interruption, or on only one device?

Know the next step before approving more work

A practical fault summary and an agreed repair or network setup. Any test that interrupts service is discussed first, and the affected workflow is rechecked where access permits.

START WITH THE PROBLEM

Tell us what is wrong. Get a clear next step.

Share the issue, equipment, location, and urgency. Daniel reviews your request, confirms whether an assessment is needed, and explains the proposed scope and pricing before work begins.

Describe your issue ↗

One-time repairs, setup projects, or ongoing TechWorld Care.

Confirm the equipment and access first

We assess onsite connectivity around platforms such as Toast, Square, and Clover. Vendor-managed networks, payment settings, menu routing, and proprietary application changes require the appropriate vendor approval and access. Offline payment and order behavior depends on the actual platform; backup internet does not guarantee uninterrupted transactions.

Fix the issue. Ask about ongoing care.

You can request a one-time job without a managed IT agreement. After the immediate issue is understood, ask about TechWorld Care for your agreed PCs and supported network equipment. Free monitoring trials are scoped separately; trial features, duration, and eligibility are confirmed first.
